These unprecedented restrictions have been imposed following a review of the anticipated weather and the current condition on the course following the prolonged adverse weather. As a result Team Divex / RN Divers has been withdrawn from the race as they are unable to meet the minimum requirement imposed in the mandatory self assessment matrix; this is primarily due to this being the boat crew and support teams first attempt at DW which is heavily weighted against in the self assessment matrix. [/span][/p][p][span=color: #ff0000;]Naturally the team are disappointed by this mandated withdrawal from the race post the months of training and preparations, often in extreme conditions similar to those anticipated for the race. Undeterred, Soapy and Andy will now complete a 24 hour paddle on Horsea Lake 18 – 19 Apr to simulate the DW challenge – more details will follow on this very soon. The race is a severe test of skill, stamina and leadership.[/span][lt]/span[gt][/p][p][span=color: #ff0000;][lt]span style="color: #000000;"[gt]To find out more go to: [url=http://www.dwrace.org.uk][lt]span style="color: #0000ff;"[gt]www.dwrace.org.uk[/span][/url][span=color: #0000ff;] [/span][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][/p][p] [/p][p][span=color: #ff0000;][b]HOW YOU CAN DONATE[lt]br /[gt][/b][/span]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities.
