[p][lt]img style="vertical-align: middle;" title="Team EQ!" src="http://eqinvestors.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Lakes-Challenge-Team-EQ-SML.jpg" alt="EQ Investors Lakes Challenge Team" width="400" height="240" /[gt][/p][p]We're fundraising for the Youth Adventure Trust as part of the Lakes Challenge: we'll be hiking, cycling and canoeing in the Lake District over 3 days, and we'd love your support so that more young people get opportunities to do great things in the outdoors.[/p][p]The Youth Adventure Trust which helps vulnerable young people through outdoor development programmes and adventure camps.[/p][p]We all work at EQ Investors, a wealth management firm in London. EQ is a B Corporation, and operates a Matched Giving programme for clients and staff. This means that EQ will be matching every pound we fundraise for Youth Adventure Trust. This will double the total amount we raise on this page![/p][p]EQ staff are an active bunch, recent events include partaking in the Standard Chartered City Race, The London Marathon, and Prudential Ride London. Our team of 7 are taking part in this years Invesco Perpetual Lakes Challenge, likely to be their greatest feat yet! This involves a 16km hike taking in three of England's highest mountains (Scafell Pike, Great Gable and Kirk Fell), a 45km mountain bikeride to Coniston Water, before a 5km canoe across the lake to complete the challenge in the mountainous Lake District (total ascent profile across the events of 2,741m!)[/p][p]Please help us raise money for this excellent cause. All donations are gratefully received, no matter how great or small![/p]
