My story

[p]Jenni and I have been invited to join the Lon Las (North to South Wales) cycling challenge to raise funds for Gloucestershire Youth for Christ.[/p][p]Jenni will be driving the support vehicle for the team of 8 riders. I will be cycling the 230 miles from Holyhead, through Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons to the South Wales Coast, finishing in Cardiff or Chepstow. The total ascent for the ride is over 17,000ft (4 times the height of Ben Nevis!) so essential training for me started on 1st January 2019![/p][p]All sponsorship money raised by us will go directly to GYFC as they provide support and encouragement to children and teenagers in our local schools and community. Please consider sponsoring us and enabling the message that there is hope and an alternative to the very real difficulties and challenges young people face in 2019.[/p][p][br][/p]

It might be 17,000ft up, but that also means 17,000ft coasting downhill.
