My story

[p]On 16th January 2019, our family received news that shattered our world. Our beautiful sister, daughter and auntie had lost her battle with mental health. In her all-too-short time with us, she touched so many lives and made them better, even when her own was such a struggle.[/p][p]Throughout her problems, Bethany received support from some immeasurably caring and helpful nurses, carers, groups and charities. It is for this reason that our mother, Julia, will be undertaking a huge challenge. On 9th October 2019, she will be taking part in a 10-day trek of The Great Wall of China![/p][p]This will be an enormous task, but it is one that Julia is incredibly passionate about. In completing the trek, she will not only be raising money for a very worthy charity, but will also use it as a fitting memorial to Bethany.[/p][p]Please give whatever you can to this valuable cause, and know that the entire family will be incredibly grateful for every single penny that is donated.[/p][p][br][/p][p]The Mental Health Foundation is the UK's charity for everyone's mental health and we put prevention at the heart of all we do. By finding and addressing the sources of mental health, our work enables people and communities to thrive with good mental health.[/p]
