My story

[p]Down in the depths of Karongwe lives a dedicated team of researchers and volunteers who are working hard to help track and research Cheetahs and Lions. Each day they locate these endangered predators in order to better understand their feeding ecology, spatial utilisation an inter-specific relationships. This valuable data is shared with organisations such as the EWT, and aids Karongwe reserve management by allowing for better informed management decisions pertaining to these wonderful big cats![/p][p][br][/p][p]We are in need of updating and refurbishing our tracking and data equipment. We need your help to make this possible. Over the course of the next month, we will be doing a series of challenges around our base. Head on over to our Facebook page where we will give the public three trials to choose from for each challenge, so make your vote count! We will post the voting for each new challenge once we have reached a donation threshold. What would you like to see our staff and volunteers do? The power is in your hands! Then watch the live video to see the action take place![/p][p][br][/p][p]Challenge 1: Foodies (Our cats aren’t fussy about what they eat, neither are we)[/p][p]Challenge 2: Bugs (If Simba can eat bugs, we can do a challenge with them)[/p][p]Challenge 3: Teamwork (Our cheetah boys and lion pride work closely together to survive, so do we)[/p][p]Challenge 4: Around the reserve (Our Big Cats love to roam and so do we)[/p][p]FINAL CHALLENGE: Eat an impala testicle (You vote on which staff/volunteers will have to eat it!)[/p]
