[p]Menstrual Hygiene Day is an annual awareness day on May 28 to highlight the importance of good menstrual hygiene management.[/p][p]One of the projects GVI Limpopo conduct every year through the GVI Trust is the purchase of reusable pads for young girls in our local community. Reusable pads are more hygienic, sustainable, environmentally friendly and cost effective than single use pads.[/p][p]This year we have 65 young girls in our class to assist, which will cost us just over ZAR12,300 to purchase the reusable pads. We hope to try and raise this before Menstrual Hygiene Day on the 28th![/p][p]With your help, we can provide an awesome way to ensure these young girls feel comfortable and confident![/p]
