The most obvious result is a weakness on one of the body, rather like a stroke. Over half of children with hemiplegia also have additional difficulties which can include epilepsy, visual or speech impairments as well as perceptual problems, specific learning difficulties or emotional and behavioural problems.[lt]/div[gt] [lt]div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"[gt]HemiHelp is a small national charity, formed in 1990 that offers support to young people with hemiplegia and their families.
