Team story

[p][b]Four serving Royal Navy Submariners will row over 3,000 miles unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean. The team "HMS Oardacious" will take part in the famous Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge - "the World's Toughest Row". The team will push off on 12 December 2019 from La Gomera in the Canaries to reach Nelson's dockyard, Antigua 30-50 days later. They will row in shifts for 2 hours on 2 hours off, all day, every day, facing waves up to 40ft high, salt sores, sleep deprivation and the Submariner's worst nightmare - sea sickness.[/b][/p][p][b]HMS Oardacious are fundraising to provide Mental Health support and leave a lasting legacy of wellbeing for Royal Navy Submariners; it's all about our shipmates!
