My story

[p]So, I have been running for the past 11 years and entering races for the past ten. Throughout that time I have setup various sponsorship pages and raised approximately £1000 for Cancer Research and then Bloodwise. This year, I have been running a bit quicker than normal and have achieved personal best times in the 5k and 10k distances. Now I want to try and do the same for the half marathon and the Great South Run. [/p][p]My current PB for the half marathon is 2hours and 1min set in 2014. I would love to get under 2 hours so I have entered the Winchester (23rd Sept), Basingstoke (7th Oct) and Gosport (18th Nov) half marathons hoping that I will get under 2 hours in at least one of them![/p][p]My Great South PB is 1hr 32min 46sec set last year but I want to cut 3minutes off of that to get under 90 minutes if possible. [/p][p]If you can sponsor even just a few pounds, it would make a massive difference to the lives of so many people and would make all of the early mornings that little bit brighter as I keep plugging away trying to improve my times. I write this on the night before the Winchester half. Tomorrow there are severe rain and wind warnings in place and it would be great to have a few pounds on the total by the tie I cross the finish line tomorrow lunchtime![/p][p]Anything you can do is very much appreciated. [/p]
