Team story

[p]FUM has been active in the Tabora region of Tanzania for over 50 years. For six years we have been supporting the building of the much needed clinic at Ibambo. A year ago we started our Ibambo 2018-19 project with a target of £15,000 to have the clinic fully operational at last.[/p][p]In 2018 our Walks raised enough to finish the staff accommodation and put £3000 towards the water project. This allowed the clinic to start providing a limited service.[/p][p]Our 2019 target is to raise the remaining £7000 needed to construct a large underground rainwater storage tank so that the clinic can provide a full service. This will make a huge difference to the lives of Ibambo villagers.[/p][p]The tank design and construction will be similar to that of the successful one at nearby Nyasa clinic. It will hold 100,000 litres, enough to seem them through the dry season.[/p][p][/p]
