Ironman Italy for MIND

[p]Nicolai Behr, partner in the Munich office of Baker McKenzie, Gabriel Czembor, Consultant in the Munich office at Russell Reynolds Associates, and John Groom, senior associate in the London office of Baker McKenzie, will take on the ultimate endurance challenge: 3.8km of swimming in the Mediterranean, 180km on the bike and a marathon along the shore.[/p][p]We dedicate our efforts of the full Ironman distance (140.6 miles) to MIND, a mental health charity. Executives, lawyers and consultants have demanding jobs. While physical issues are usually addressed and treated openly, mental issues or struggles are too often overlooked, ignored and/or individuals suffering from them are ashamed and too afraid to articulate them. If not treated adequately, sometimes severe depressions or anxiety disorders can follow.[/p][p]We need a more open culture around mental health and it is MIND's mission to change that and to help people in need. Please help us support this great cause. The London office and the German / Austrian offices of Baker McKenzie and the German Russell Reynolds office have pledged to donate GBP 1,000 each to MIND. Our goal is to raise GBP 5,000 for MIND.[/p]
