My story

[p]Jeff and Steph are running the Glasgow 10k in June again - and this time they want to beat not only their race times from 2018 but their fundraising success too. [/p][p]Please support their efforts in the coming weeks - some words of encouragement and a few quid would be much appreciated. [/p][p]They are raising money for Kipawa, a Scottish-based charity providing feeding programmes and other health and counselling services for school children living in poverty in Ruiru, Kenya. The money raised and spent has enhanced the life chances of many thousands of children and young people, their families and the surrounding communities through:[/p][p]· funding breakfast and lunch at two schools there, alongside targeted support for particularly needy secondary school pupils, and has directly improved school attendance of more than 1,000 children[/p][p]· arranging health checks and counselling support, which has helped with the wider physical and emotional needs for those young people[/p][p]· providing small business grants for families of the children at the schools have developed economic resilience in the areas.[/p]
