Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Here is where you can sponsor us, donations will be quickly processed and passed to CLIC. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

We really appreciate all your support and thank you for your donation :o)

http://teamjogle.blogspot.com/

In the beginning........our son Callum was diagnosed with cancer. He had a 14cm diameter tumour wrapped around his right kidney with further nodules on his lungs and lymph nodes. Though both the tumour and kidney have been removed there still remains a "viable tumour" where his kidney was so he continues to have extensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions at Bristol and Exeter Hospitals. He’s lost his hair, is often sick, gets tired very easily and being so vulnerable to infections cannot attend nursery, or go anywhere where he may be at risk.

Despite all this, he is an absolute star, rarely complaining except for the occasional "I wish I was a normal boy again" and being very positive – he really is a total inspiration for such a young lad.

CLIC Sargeant have been a wonderful, and frankly essential support for our family throughout. They have provided Callum with a (fantastic) designated nurse who enables Callum to have some procedures done at home so minimizing the time he spends in hospital. They provide us with accommodation when we have to stay in Bristol and have helped us out financially where they can, with petrol costs and the occasional day out for quality family time. CLIC have also provided us with a large push chair for Callum as he doesn't have the energy to walk far and the chemotherapy has temporarily damaged the muscles in his legs and feet. They really have helped to make this nightmare less stressful than it could have been and we’d have been lost without them.

As a charity the work they do for families in our situation is amazing. They need people to fundraise as much as possible in order to keep this essential service going though so please be generous in your support of Jo and Mal. What they/ve done is incredible......
