[p]2018 London Marathon for the Family Holiday Association (FHA) - helping some of the poorest children in the UK to have a short break in the UK - life changing for those living in poverty[/p][p]+ + + + +[/p][p]Thank you to TUI UK, who for the fifth year have pledged £5,000 in matched funding towards my fundraising for the FHA - one of TUI UK's supported charities.[/p][p]Thank you also to ABTA, ABTA Insurance, Cottages.com, Hays Travel, Hebridean Island Cruises, Hoseasons, IGLU, Kennedys Law, Kuoni, Light Blue Travel, Midcounties Cooperative, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Seventeen Group (James Hallam / Touchstone), Sunvil, Travelopia and White Hart Associates (WHA) for their £500 pledges of support![/p][p]Thank you to Diverse World, EFR Travel and Britaly for their pledges of £100[/p][p]+ + + + +[/p][p]I am going to complete the London Marathon on 22 April for the Family Holiday Association (FHA), which will be my fifth marathon for them and the 30th Anniversary of my first London Marathon in 1988![/p][p]The FHA are an amazing industry charity that provides simple short breaks to kids and their families who live in poverty or crisis and could not otherwise get away. Most breaks are a week in a caravan or a day trip. Sadly, there are more than 2 million children living below the poverty line in the UK, so the need is much greater than can be provided for.[/p][p]My £10,000 target would fund something like 20 families during 2018.
