Each designer created a one-off artwork using only three sheets of coloured A4 paper. All artworks were exhibited in London and sold via an online auction, [b]raising more than £40,000[/b]. We kindly ask for cash donations here to bring us up to our target.[/span][/p][lt]p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 14px; line-height: normal; font-family: Verdana; -webkit-text-stroke-color: #000000; -webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;"[gt][/p][lt]p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 14px; line-height: normal; font-family: Verdana; -webkit-text-stroke-color: #000000; -webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;"[gt][span=font-kerning: none;][url=https://www.maggiescentres.org]Maggie's[/url] is a charity[/span][span=-webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;] that offers free practical and emotional support for people living with cancer. They build extraordinary centres that are attached to cancer specialist hospitals across the UK. Each centre is designed by a leading architect, the space designed at a domestic scale to be as far away from the sterility of a hospital ward. They are flooded with natural light and plentiful glimpses of nature and are ultimately embued with a feeling of calm for those diagnosed with cancer as well as their friends and family who are supporting them. Each centre has councillors on hand; offers practical advice and literature; comfortable space to sit, sleep and reflect; fitness and wellbeing classes; and a central kitchen table to chat with others or simply enjoy a cup of tea.[/span][/p][lt]p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 14px; line-height: normal; font-family: Verdana; -webkit-text-stroke-color: #000000; -webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;"[gt][/p][lt]p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 14px; line-height: normal; font-family: Verdana; -webkit-text-stroke-color: #000000; -webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;"[gt][span=-webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;]Architects who have designed centres include Zaha Hadid, Richard Rogers, Norman Foster, Steven Holl, Snohetta, Frank Gehry, Thomas Heatherwick, Amanda Levete and many more.[/span][/p][lt]p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 14px; line-height: normal; font-family: Verdana; -webkit-text-stroke-color: #000000; -webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;"[gt][/p][lt]p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 14px; line-height: normal; font-family: Verdana; -webkit-text-stroke-color: #000000; -webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;"[gt][span=-webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;][b]Please help us reach our target[/b] which will help Maggie's to continue their great work for those living with cancer.[/span][/p][lt]p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 14px; line-height: normal; font-family: Verdana; -webkit-text-stroke-color: #000000; -webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;"[gt][/p]

Congratulation to all people involved in Maggie's charity, and thank you Max Fraser for introducing me to this great initiative. We tend to forget how much this terrible disease affects us all directly or indirectly. All best, Romain
