My story

[p]Hello and many thanks for visiting my fundraising page for what will be my biggest ever challenge![/p][p]50 days cycling over 2650 miles around the UK in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Trust [/p][p]Starting in the centre of Chichester on 12th June 2019 I hope to raise 50 Grand from the challenge before finishing and getting back to Chichester on What would be my Sisters 50th birthday on July 31st[/p][p]From Chichester I will head West along the coast via Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, Exmouth to Lands End and from there up through Truro and Bude over the Severn Bridge and into Wales, where I will head to Mount Snowden, the first of the three National highest peaks in the UK I plan to climb on route leaving my bike at the foot of each mountain [/p][p]I will then head over the River Mersey through Liverpool and along to Blackpools Golden Mile and then onto the mountainous landscape of Scotland! [/p][p]Great landmarks, towns and cities on the way include Morecombe, Carlisle, Lake Windermere, Scaffle Pike, Glasgow, Ben Nevis, Loch Ness, John O Groats, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, then it’s back into England heading through Sunderland, Newcastle and York but one part I'm really looking forward to is riding into Letchworth, the home of the Multiple Sclerosis Trust where I’m sure it will be emotional [/p][p]From Letchworth the ride will then take me through London down towards Dover and then along the coast through Hastings and Brighton and back to Chichester, but not before riding through my Parents Home village of Boxgrove and a visit to Kathleen’s grave [/p][p]The roads will be tough and unpredictable and there will be many very steep hills to tackle but that adds to the excitement of the challenge! not forgetting this is the UK, the weather will be unpredictable too![/p][p]This will be without doubt the biggest challenge I've ever undertaken, physically, emotionally and mentally and will require months and months of training, preparation, organising and promoting [/p][p]I will be riding solo and unsupported and will be carrying everything I need for 50 days, any help, support, sponsorship would be gratefully received [/p][p]Please could I ask that you also share page [/p][p]Charity number 1088353[/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p]
