Team story

[p]Help support Islay and Stew as they attempt to be the first people to circumnavigate Great Britain by kite. Read more about their adventure and track their progress on www.kitebritain.com.[/p][p]As part of this challenge we're excited to be raising money for two great charities. The Armada Trust Kite and SUP Youth Tour and the Marine Conservation Society. [/p][p]The Kite and SUP Youth Tour introduces young children around the country to the sport we love. With the funds you donate, we're hoping to introduce more children and young people to the thrills that can be had by learning to kite. The sport is sending us on an adventure of a lifetime and has introduced us to a range of fun-loving people. We're hoping the tour will inspire other young potential riders to start their own kiting journeys.[/p][p]The Marine Conservation Society is the UK’s leading charity for the protection of our seas, shores and wildlife. For over thirty years MCS has been the voice for the sea for all the fascinating creatures that live beneath the waves, for our breath-taking coastal environment, for all those who make a sustainable living from the sea and for everyone who simply enjoys visiting the beach and our glorious coastline.[/p][p]Big thank you for everyone's support, and fingers crossed for good wind![/p][p]Stew, Islay and the Kite Britain Team[/p]

Very well done both of you, really excellent that you accomplished such a feat. I have enjoyed your posts and am catching up on the PC , finding it easier than the mobile. Only just realised that I had forgotten to donate ! Best wishes Pam Mainwaring

Guess you didn’t have a whole lot of time to pick up plastic on your way round. Hopefully this small contribution will help others with a bit more time for the pick up job.
