[p]**Update**[/p][p]Thanks to a number of fabulous people I have achieved my I initial £1000 target! I have revised this to £1500- please give what you can & help me get there! Remember whatever I raise will be doubled. Thank you all x[/p][p]Am I crazy!?![/p][p]Hi, I’m Liam- a pretty ordinary guy.... with an extra ordinary son, Oscar.[/p][p]Almost 11 years ago my wife Nichola & I were blessed with Oscar, at around 4 years he was diagnosed with ASD (Autism). [/p][p]Oscar struggles to cope with school & still does to this day. It’s a continuous struggle for us as parents to get him the right support in his education. Our desperation in the early days led us to The Norfolk SEN Network & Pat. Pat guided us through the mountains of red tape that is Special Educational Need and without her intervention I’m not sure where we would be today.[/p][p]The answer to the Am I Crazy?question, is well..... kinda- but it’s a good Crazy! I have a debt of gratitude to the charity for helping my family out in its hour of need, as a family we have some very close links to the charity as it continues its amazing work. Without it a lot more children would not have the support they now have or the provisions they will have given the charities support. So why not run 26.2 Miles![/p][p]Thats where you come in...! I need you to help me to raise ALOT of money so that amazing work can carry on, Norfolk SEN Network has no statuary funding & is reliant on individuals like you to help keep the charity going. It’s an important resource to so many parents that are literally banging their heads against a brick wall in an attempt to get their child the education that he or she deserves. The charity effectively takes the case on for the parents & will fight (if required) the council all the way to the courts to get the child the correct provisions for him or her.[/p][p]My day job is as a showroom manager for Easy Bathrooms on Barker Street in Norwich & they have promised to match whatever I raise!! So what ever you give will be doubled by those kind people! I’ll be chasing down all of our regular traders with a proposal for sponsorship, so be ready fellas!![/p][p]I’ll be doing as much as I can between now & April 26th 2020 to raise lots of money & the profile of our little known charity. [/p][p]So please everyone dig as deep as you can. For those of you that know me you will know this is a monumental challenge, I’m at my heaviest weight, I’ve done little to no training for a long time! Basically I’m incredibly unfit!! The money that you pledge is the kick up my backside that I need to get through this.[/p][p]Thank You all![/p][p]Liam[/p][p]#marathon #london #sen #notfolk #norwich #asd #autism #adhd #ds[/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p]
