My story

[p]Thank you for visiting my page. My daughter's best friend, Liberty Grace Schurer was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma on her 13th birthday in September 2016. Ewing's Sarcoma is a rare and very aggressive form of bone cancer, affecting less than 30 children in the UK each year. After a courageous 13 month battle with cancer, Libs, sadly gained her angel wings on October 11th 2017 at the tender age of 14. We all miss her very much.[/p][p]During her treatment Libs never lost her wicked sense of humour and her cheeky smile. She has been an inspiration to everyone from those who knew her well to those who never got to meet her. It was Liberty's final wish that funds are raised in her name and to raise awareness of Ewing's Sarcoma.[/p][p]I will be running my first ever Marathon in her memory and she will be driving force to keep me going whilst training through the cold, dark nights and when I 'hit the wall' during the race. I will try and summon up the strength, courage and determination which she has in abundance during her gruelling treatment and I will try my best to keep a smile on my face like Libs did![/p][p]LIBERTY'S LEGACY IS A SPECIAL FUND OF THE BONE CANCER RESEARCH TRUST RAISING VITAL FUNDS FOR LIFE SAVING RESEARCH INTO EWING'S SARCOMA.[/p]
