My story

[p]I’ve finally taken the leap and entered next year’s Ironman UK at Bolton on the 19[sup]th[/sup] July 2015. Ironman is the ultimate solo one day endurance event that’s designed to test you physically, mentally and emotionally.  It starts at 06:00am with a 2.4 mile open water swim then a 112 mile bike ride returning to Bolton Wonders football stadium to finish the day with a marathon a 26.2 mile run. The total race distance is 140.6 miles so I’ve set myself the challenge of raising £1406.00 the charity I’ve chosen is Scope who help disabled people and their families.  I’d like you to take a few moments of your time to visit my Virgin giving page and make a small or LARGE donation on my online giving page and take a look at some of the people and families scope help www.scope.org.uk[/p][p] [/p][p]I’ll be keeping a log of my training and at the start of each month give my thoughts of the month just gone and a sneak peek into the month ahead with an overview on how the training’s going. This will help you with the competition I’ll be running closer to race date to guess my swim, bike, run and finish time to win a selection of prizes.[/p][p] [/p][p]Thanks in advance for your donation, all that donate will have their name on the back of my race number so you’ll be able to say my name is a [span=text-decoration: underline;]IRONMAN.[/span][/p]
