Team story

[p]The Wollaton Maths team are looking to diversify by becoming athletes, or rather, attempting to run the Wollaton 10K without embarrassing ourselves.[/p][p]We are raising money for CMV Action after a member of the team had a baby born with congenital CMV. CMV is a common infection which can have devastating effects and is the most common cause of birth defects. It is estimated that 1 in 150 babies are born infected with CMV. More information on this can be found here: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/katieroper [/p][p]CMV Action is a charity which provides support to families affected by CMV, whilst also campaigning for better education and the introduction of a vaccination. More information on CMV and the work of CMV Action can be found on their website here http://cmvaction.org.uk/[/p][p]Thank you for your support![/p][p]Team members: Michelle Booth, Adam Codd, Louise Elder, Chris Hall, Aidan Mosley, Katie Roper[/p]
