My story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p][p]I have planed my toughest challenge to date and I cant wait to start! I am going to be doing lots of training over the next few months, walking practice and sailing. I sail my boat by  mouth as i have cerebral palsy  and I walk using a very specail walker . please look at my website www.missisle.com .[/p][p]Sea And Summit Challenge[/p][p]On the 24th July I will set off in my specailly adapted boat from Cowes, IOW and sail around the southwest coast of England, around Lands end and along the rugged north Devon/Cornwall coast, across the sea to Wales. Once in Wales I will swap my special boat for my special walker and head to the Brecon Beacons. Once there I am going to climb the highest mountain in the area! Pen y fan.[/p][p]The journey will involve 430 miles of sailing and climbing almost 3000ft, stopping in 11 places along the way and it  will probably take approx 3-4 weeks depending on weather. [/p][p]I am raisning money for 3 fantastic charities along the way, which all mean at lot to me, so I really hope you can follow my progress and sponsor me please.[/p][p]The charities I am raising money for are ;[/p][p]The RNLI, to help keep us all safe at sea, a vital service! as Cowes RNLI saved a friend of mine  a couple of years ago.[/p][p]The Ellen Macarthur Cancer Trust who help young people who have been very ill with cancer, to enjoy life again, inspiring them and changing lives through sailing, just as sailing has for me.[/p][p]The RYA Foundation to help other disabled sailors get out on the water and sail.[/p][p]I will be visiting RNLI stations and RYA Sailability centres along my journey to find out whats happening, update people and hopefully raise awareness and support![/p][p]So  PLEASE SPONSOR ME,   Thank you Tasha x[/p]
