Team story

[lt]h2[gt]Update[lt]/h2[gt][p]We made it! On Sunday 23rd at 10pm we arrived at Big Ben – 52 hours after we left St Peter & Paul’s church in Olney.[lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]It was the most difficult physical challenge we have ever done. I think we underestimated how far 80 miles is – and how much our feet would hurt. We were limping past the finish line.[lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]But the blisters were worth it, because we’ve raised a lot of money for a great cause. We’re all very proud of that accomplishment.[lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]The community in Newton, Sierra Leone has been badly affected by the Ebola crisis and The Only-Newton Link has been assisting in any way they can. Every small donation has made a large impact.[lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]The page should be accepting donations until the end of the week, so please share the link if you know anyone that might be able to contribute.[/p][p][/p][p][lt]img title="walking" src="https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/v/t34.0-12/10811533_10152835743195874_2037759904_n.jpg?oh=7baa10ddc8ae73f232b173d5c39cfe60&oe=547809D5&__gda__=1417148996_171516d983ea8349b7c6fb5f44190708" alt="walking" width="400" height="300" /[gt][/p][p][/p][p][/p][hr/][p][hr/][/p][p][/p][p]Hi, thanks for visiting our page.[/p][p][/p][p]The Olney-Newton Link is a local charity aiming to advance education and relieve poverty in Newton, Sierra Leone.[/p][lt]div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"[gt]The Olney-Newton Link is a local charity aiming to advance education and relieve poverty in Newton, Sierra Leone.[lt]/div[gt] [lt]div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"[gt] [lt]/div[gt] [lt]div id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"[gt]All areas of Sierra Leone have been hit by the Ebola epidemic. We will be walking 80 miles in two and a half days by following the path along the Grand Union Canal.[/p][lt]p class="ecxMsoNormal"[gt][/p][lt]p class="ecxMsoNormal"[gt]If you can spare a little money, please donate to our cause.[/p][p][/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt][lt]img title="ONL walking route" src="http://s29.postimg.org/z96g4yymf/ONLmap.jpg" alt="ONL walking route" width="420" height="268" /[gt][/p]
