[p]WE DID IT! We had a great time on Sunday, the weather was perfect, the event was well run and we ran in under two hours, 1:55:32. Out of a field of 16,000 we came 1570th and 1571st. We have by far exceeded our fundraising target and would like to thank everyone who has supported us. We have been over whelmed by the kindness and support that everyone has shown us. Thank you![/p][p]Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Rachel and Hannah are running a half marathon!! 2 and a half years ago we were both fat. Very fat. After losing 8.5 stone between us and getting fit we have decided to raise the stakes. Running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon represents a huge goal for us both and will allow us to prove that we've done it! [/p][p]We chose the Dogs Trust for a number of reasons, mostly that we like dogs and hate to think of any dogs being sad. Also, as vegetarians, we think that humanity should take responsibility for the problems we cause. If people didn't mistreat dogs then the Dogs Trust would have nothing to do. And if that doesn't do it, there are cute pictures of dogs wearing a running top![/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
