My story

[p]Hi and thank you for pressing the right buttons to reach my interweb site.[/p][p]I am running the 2019 London Marathon to raise funds for Blood Pressure UK and it would be great if you could sponsor me. I am a 'casual' runner so the idea of running 26.2 miles is pretty daunting but I am sure I will make it with your support and donations.[/p][p]Blood Pressure UK is the only charity solely dedicated to lowering the nation's blood pressure to prevent disability and death from stroke and heart disease. Their vision is that everyone will know their blood pressure numbers, in the same way that they know their height or weight, and take steps to keep them healthy both now and in the future. Lots of information and advice is available at Blood Pressure UK's website - http://www.bloodpressureuk.org/Home[/p][p]I was diagnosed with hypertension (high blood pressure) in 2018 and this was a surprise to me as I consider myself to be fairly fit and healthy with a good diet. After too long a period of denial I am now on regular medication to manage my high blood pressure.[/p][p]Everyone should have their blood pressure checked regularly even if they think they do not have any issues - it can affect anyone, is not usually detected by visible symptoms and can lead to major health problems if left unchecked and untreated. Don't leave it too long - know your blood pressure numbers now![/p][p]I am sure you will want to donate to this worthy cause so please give as much as you can to support my 2019 London Marathon cause.[/p]

Good going Paul! My best wishes for your endeavours in what is a great cause! I personally come from a family of "hyper-tense" parents and in fact lost my dad to it! Have a great run and stay safe buddy! :)
