Team story

[p][span=font-size: 13px;][lt]span[gt]Having taken on 10ks, half marathons and canal extravaganzas, this year we're asking you to scale hills, mountains, kerbs and staircases for Yaknak. [lt]span[gt]It's the Pick a Peak Challenge![/span][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][/p] [p][/p] [p][span=font-size: 13px;]In April, Kathryn Potter, Gerry Coutts, Danny Lobo, Clare McGowan, Adam Crawford, Doreen Seymour, [/span][span=font-size: 13px;]Gordon Dale, Keryn McCoy, Mo Belkaid and Louise Todd will take on Conic Hill's 1,150ft.[/span][/p] [p][/p] [p][span=font-size: 13px;][lt]span[gt]In June, Paul and Alec Clark will drag their dad up [lt]span[gt]Ben Nevis's 4,410ft. They'll be followed in July by [/span][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][span=font-size: 13px;]Jim Griffin, Alex Gallacher and Gemma Carroll who will scale Scotland's highest peak and look down upon all humanity.[/span][/p] [p][/p] [p][span=font-size: 13px;]And then we go international! In August, Keith and Laura Dickinson will make their assault on the Colorado rockies, roping in a bunch of friends to scale 14,000ft![/span][/p] [p][/p] [p][span=font-size: 13px;]With their efforts and your generosity we hope to raise an absolute ton for Yaknak![/span][/p] [p][span=font-size: 13px;][lt]br /[gt][/span][/p] [p][span=font-size: 13px;]Yaknak is a small Scottish charity that runs two childrens homes in Nepal. Kapan House and Banglamukhi House are situated on the outskirts of Kathmandu and are each home to eight boys, Ama (Nepali mum) and Didi (big sister). The boys were previously living on the streets of Kathmandu or were displaced by civil war and unable to return home to their villages. They now live in safe, family-style homes, are well cared for and attend local schools. We need to raise £16,000 a year to keep the houses running. Please help us by sponsoring the team. Every penny we raise will be spent in Nepal, with not a penny of your donation spent on admin. Thank you![/span][/p]
