Team story

[p]Hello and thanks for visiting.  Polygrid is a group of solar professionals who volunteer a portion of our time to helping NGO's assess and implement solar PV systems to help them reduce their running costs.[/p][p]And we are fundraising for our next, and most ambitious project yet...[/p][p]In September 2013 we helped the Philippine Community Fund with a 7 kWp solar array on their school in Manila.  The school provides education and much more to over 600 children from needy families and runs a adult skills programme.[/p][p]The school has a big roof, and we always hoped to fit a system which would maximise this space.  So this is phase 2..[/p][p]The existing system has been runnung without fault for over two years, and has saved the charity over £3,000.00 in electricity costs.  The extended system will substantially increase this yearly saving to around £6,000.00 each year for many years to come.[/p][p]Part of our service involves training the new owners to care for and maintain the systems we provide.  This is no fit and run....[/p][p]For more information on PCF, please visit the following:[/p][p]http://www.p-c-f.org/     OR     https://www.facebook.com/pcf.uk[/p][p]For more details about this project or previous please feel free to email us at:   tim@polygrid.org[/p]
