[p]2016 sees the 10th anniversary of Portmore Insurance and to celebrate this we are holding a years worth of fund raising events on behalf of two local charities.[/p][p]The Lahna Appeal (a Southampton Hospital Charity) and The Society of St James’ Charities have been carefully chosen by the Portmore employees, to benefit from the celebration as we aim to raise as much money as we can for two fantastic charities.[/p][p]There are various events planned throughout our year culminating in a Gala dinner on 7th October 2016.[/p][p][b][span=text-decoration: underline;]Sleep Out - 12th November 2015[/span][/b][/p][p]8 Portmore staff will swap their beds for sleeping bags and sleep out at St Mary's Church in Southampton to raise awareness for the homeless [/p][p][b][span=text-decoration: underline;]The 24 hour Portmore triathlon - 28th-29th January 2016[/span][/b][/p][p]This will entail the reception area at our offices being transformed for one day only intoan exercising frenzy. Portmore staff will aim to complete a combined total of 600 miles across 24 hours on an exercise bike, a treadmill and a rowing machine.[/p][p][b][span=text-decoration: underline;]Walk The Wight - 23rd April 2016[/span][/b][/p][p]Portmore staff will walk through the centre of the Isle of Wight which is 26 miles in fancy dress.[/p][p][b][span=text-decoration: underline;]Walk 100km of The South Downs Way - 25th-26th June 2016[/span][/b][/p][p][lt]br /[gt]We will take on the South Downs Way and wall 100 kilometres in under 30 hours[/p][p][b][span=text-decoration: underline;]Portmore to Paris - 22nd, 23rd-24th September 2016[/span][/b][/p][p]A cycle ride across 3 days leaving from the Portmore offices in Southampton and arriving in Paris 185 miles later.[/p][p][b][span=text-decoration: underline;]Portmore Gala Dinner - 7th October 2016[/span][/b][/p][p]Join us for what we hope will be a very special fundraising dinner to announce the totals raised[/p]
