Team story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Many of you may know that Ksenia, Jesse and I ran the BUPA 10K last year for VICTA and we raised over £300.00 for VICTA. This year we wanted to take on the next challenge and run a HALF MARATHON and raise over £750.00 for VICTA!!!

We were able to rope in Kav and Hassan aka Big Boss to join our tutu gang! With the motivation from each other and from your genorous donations hopefully running for over two hours to complete a track of 13.5 miles won't be so bad!

We thank you so much for your donations, you are helping a very worthwhile cause and we will let you know how it all goes in Geordie Shore!!!

Where your money is going:

VICTA provide support for families with visually impaired children. VICTA was started in 1987 by a group of parents of blind and partially sighted children who came together to discuss their individual problems and found that they could help each other with the day to day problems of looking after a visually impaired child. Since this time, VICTA has developed into a national charity and now supports blind and partially sighted children across the UK. Every year a large number of people raise money for us by running in the London Marathon. This has enabled us to: Provide full support and guidance to parents Make grants for appropriate equipment Make grants for special projects Support other charities who work in our field VICTA also organise meetings, sporting and leisure activities throughout the year so parents and visually impaired children will have the opportunity to meet and exchange views. For more information visit www.victa.org.uk.
