My story

[p]Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. [/p][p]In 2012 my world fell apart when my beautiful son George and my husband Paul passed away suddenly within 5 days of one another. The happy, perfect life I had was shattered into millions of tiny pieces leaving me to bring up my two other children aged 2 and 3 alone. [/p][p]For me, crying is the easy part of losing loved ones. I miss them every day and they give me the strength to carry on. However, the effect this loss has had on me physically and mentally has been crippling. The flashbacks, the anxiety and the feelings of worthlessness haunt me every day. I wear a wonderful mask that shines through the darkness but I have now decided to share my journey with people in the hope I can help others.[/p][p]Please donate. This is truly the hardest event I have taken part in. I am going to have to push myself to the limit to cross the finish line. I have guardian angels watching over me but your support and encouragement would mean so much. [/p][p]Thank you in advance. Together we can make a difference. R xxx[/p]

Well done! While I don't know you, I felt compelled to donate after watching Mind over Marathon (which our mutual friend Alex Woodall brought to my attention). Absolutely inspirational! Best wishes for the future. x
