My story

[p]I'm returning to the track this year to partake in the London marathon! [/p][p]I have chosen 2 very different charities, both equally important to me. I am delighted to be running this year for the Octagon Theatre, Bolton and Alzheimer's society. [/p][p]The Octagon is an amazing theatre and I'm so excited to be playing Hamlet in their 50th Anniversary season whilst training for this year's marathon. As an actor the Octagon has given me opportunities to work with some outstanding people and play some career changing roles. Their community and outreach department is so inspiring, they give disadvantaged people life changing opportunities and access to the arts on a daily basis. I'm thrilled to be running under the Octagon banner and contributing to the continuation of their work as they plan for an exciting future with a major redevelopment project taking place this year. To run or not to run... that is the question... please donate and support this superb theatre. [/p][p]Alzheimers Society is the only UK charity investing in research into dementia care, cause, cure and prevention. They fight for the rights of everyone affected by dementia providing 3,000 services across the UK, and every project they fund directly addresses the needs and concerns of people affected by dementia. They are committed to keeping dementia at the top of the political agenda and raising awareness, pushing for a more dementia-friendly society so people with the condition can live without fear and prejudice. Please donate and help make a difference to more people living with dementia.[/p]
