My story

[p]On 13 October I'm going to be running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on behalf of the charity Working Families. They're a great charity that provide free legal advice to parents and carers on their rights at work. They give employers the tools they need to support their employees while creating a flexible, high-performing workforce. And they advocate on behalf of the UK’s 13 million working parents, influencing policy through campaigns informed by ground-breaking research.[/p][p]Update 1: Massively grateful for all the donations so far. They have definitely helped inspire me to go further and faster in training. One month to go now![/p][p]I've now blogged about the run too: https://www.workingfamilies.org.uk/workflex-blog/finding-balance-through-running/[/p][p]Update 2: Ealing ‘warm-up’ half marathon done. Turned out to be hillier than expected. Hopefully my legs will recover in time for the main event on 13 October! [/p][p]Update 3: Royal Parks half done! Legs had barely recovered from the last one, but a cracking course. So many thanks to everyone who sponsored me! [/p]
