My story

[p]Hey! Just a little information as to why I have chosen this charity to support.[/p][p]As many of you will know, Sam and I experienced 2 ectopic pregnancies in our quest to have a family. Both experiences were extremely scary, internal bleeding, a lot of pain that I couldn’t really describe to anyone, 2 emergency operations and 2 long recoveries- physically but more so mentally. [/p][p]With no tubes left, it took a lot of fight and determination to get to where we are today with 2 beautiful sons but again that wasn’t without trauma and again many knockbacks along the way.[/p][p]I have thought long and hard about the charity I would like to support but this time of our/my life was the most challenging I have ever experienced.... everywhere we looked there were beautiful babies, our friends were having little ones and I was planning and attending baby showers and enjoying every moment but with no Fallopian tubes left, I thought our chances were over and that was hard at times to cope with emotionally. I am not afraid to say, at times, I didn’t cope, had been left with health anxiety so what did I do.... RUN! And I still do to keep my mind healthy and away from that low place.[/p][p]I want to support The Ectopic Pregnancy Foundation because they helped me in many little ways... the advice line, the counselling calls, the research and facts pages and most of all realising that I was not on my own, others had suffered and gone on to have babies. [/p][p]Im not looking to raise loads just a small appreciation for a charity that is not one of the big ones but all the same does some fantastic work for us ‘tubeless lot!’ [/p][p]Nat xx[/p]
