Bournemouth Marathon

[p]Everyone runs marathons...[/p][p]We're not particularly different, special or brave...[/p][p]But we are three friends, with a passion for change who have a collective story and a determination (with your help) to make lives better.[/p][p]Kelly Griffin, Darren Powell and John Merriman will be running the Bournemouth Marathon on 6th October to help broken families in Zimbabwe get back on their feet. Each of us has spent time in Zimbabwe over the years, and we know first-hand the IMMEDIATE impact of donations to the small charity Zimkids, based in Harare, the capital.[/p][p]This year is significant too, Ruth Merriman, our sister-in-law, close friend, and wife, passed away in March. Life is never going to be the same again. Ruth's central involvement in the formation of Zimkids helped create the foundation for what it has become today.[/p][p]Running has helped us during these past 4 months, and as we move forward, sometimes a challenge is personally helpful too. We wonder if you would be willing to be a part of this...?
