My story

[p][span=color: #888888;][lt]span style="color: #800080;"[gt][b]As you all know [b]i'm [/b][/b][b]Robert Young, yes that crazy guy called MarathonManUK[/b].[/span] [lt]/span[gt] In April 2014 I was just living a regular life in London with my small family. Then suddenly everything changed...[/p] [p][lt]br /[gt]Profoundly moved by the charity fundraising stories I saw on BBC TV during the Virgin Money London Marathon 2014, I set off the very next day to run my first ever marathon and been running ever since. [/p] [p][lt]br /[gt]Since then I have been attempting to set multiple Records - and here are my stats so far [/p][p][/p][p]Holder of the longest run in history without sleep of 373.75 miles [/p] [p][span=color: #800080;]Winner of the[/span] historical[span=color: #333399;] [lt]span style="color: #800080;"[gt]3,080 mile[/span] [lt]/span[gt]TransCon[span=color: #333399;] [lt]span style="color: #800080;"[gt]Race[/span][lt]/span[gt][/p][p]370 Marathons and ultras in 365 days (marathon to 140 miles in a day)[/p][p]420 Marathons and ultras in 420 days[/p] [p]16,500+ miles[/p] [p][span=color: #800080;]94 [/span]Official[span=color: #800080;] race wins[/span][/p][p]-----------------------------[/p] [lt]h2[gt][span=color: #800080;][b]SO WHAT'S NEXT[/b][/span][lt]/h2[gt] [p]Good Question [/p]Trans-con Record (USA)  [p]48 hour + Records [/p] [p]plus going to loads of races to meet all the wonderful runners[/p] [p][span=color: #800080;][b]thats to start with [/b][/span][/p] [p][/p][p]Having had a very difficult childhood myself I am doing all this to raise money for children's charities.[/p] [p][span=color: #333399;][b]My currect charity is Dreams Come True[/b] [/span]who help children with serious and life-limiting illnesses to have a special wish realised for them. It may be to go to their favourite football club to meet the players, or to fly off to Disneyland to meet Mickey Mouse and swim with dolphins. Whatever, it is a special treat that light's up one young person's difficult life, at least for one day, and something I believe is deserving of our support. [/p]
