My story

[p]Running the Summits – 1000 Mountain Summits of the British Isles in 365 Days[/p][p]After the success and incredible support I received on the 3PeAksRun Challenge I have decided to continue the annihilation of my knees with a new, bigger, tougher challenge for 2018. When explaining the 3PeAksRun to people I often found myself defending British Mountains, particularly English Mountains and this has inspired me to showcase our challenging if diminutive peaks that to my mind pack plenty of the punch of many far loftier summits overseas by running up 1000 of them![/p][p]This should be particularly interesting as that's an awful lot of hilly stuff and I’m really rubbish at running uphill![/p][p]Being able to support such dedicated, hard working and often life saving mountain and outdoor related charities, this summer part 1 of the challenge begins with the 'mountai s' of England.[/p][p]Once again I want to encourage people to #getoutdoors and enjoy the hills safely and responsibly and will be continuing my support for Mountain Rescue, Search and Rescue Dogs and Outdoor Conservation. Please join me this year by following the adventure and donating if you can to hit a new target of £50000.[/p][p]Share the journey or come along and scale a mountain summit or two. This one is going to need an awful lot of flapjack![/p][p][br][/p][p]This endeavour will raise money and awareness for the phenomenal work of our Mountain Rescue Teams as well as the Search and Rescue Dog Association England. I will also be supporting the double award winning Lakeland fell protection charity Fix the Fells and making a personal contribution to the BMC MendOurMountains campaign. [/p][p]Please donate and support the work of these tireless and often life saving volunteers![/p][p]Follow Follow Follow and PLEASE join me vicariously on this new bonkers challenge, i am really going to need you and your flapjack![/p][p]Lets climb some mountains![/p][p]?follow on facebook https://facebook.com/adventurehobo and on the blog at https://adventurehobo.blog [/p][p][br][/p][p][br][/p][p]* 180 mountains as defined by the HEWITTS classification and definition of a mountain in England, Wales and Ireland.[/p]

Loved reading your blog Tina Laughed when reading your description of making a mashed potato inspired Roseberry Topping (also known as Odensburg after a Norse god). Have you included Rough Tor on Bodmin, near Brown Willy? A far more impressive summit.
