Rwanda Ramble

[p]As we’re not able to travel to Rwanda now or in the near future, we would like to invite you to explore the country from home.[/p][p]Our Rwanda Ramble takes you and your team on a 360-mile journey so that you can find out about our Rwandan Ambassadors and the work that CWB does in the country. You will travel the country from 11th January until 11th March and when you (or your team) reach milestones at key CWB locations you will find out more about those places and people.[/p][p]This virtual race is our first awareness and fundraising activity of 2021. Throughout the year we are raising funds to support the work of our Ambassadors, with a target of £15,000. This will fund the activities of our 8 Ambassadors in spreading vital health messages and coaching cricket – keeping children and communities safe.[/p][p]For a donation of £10 you can enter by yourself or as a team of up to 4 people to run, walk or cycle your way around Rwanda. And why not set up a fundraising page as you take on this challenge, and ask your friends and family to sponsor you as you wind your way through the Rwandan hillsides? You can use our preferred platform, Virgin Money Giving, to make this easy.[/p][p]If running isn’t your thing, any donation is welcome to add to our fundraising total – just £10 can fund an exciting session at a school to engage around 100 children in cricket and HIV awareness.[/p]
