My story

[p]I will be running the Hampton Court half marathon joined by a good handful of my team at The French Table... the challenge of running non stop for thirteen miles will pose a greater challenge for some than others (not looking at anyone in particular) [/p][p]In the run up to the big day, we need a little extra motivation to get out there and do the longer runs - and so have decided to try and raise a few pennies for a good cause, SeeAbillity.[/p][p]SeeAbility encourages people with disabilities to challenge what they expect from life, from themselves and from wider society.[/p][p]The people we support overcome huge barriers to achieve exciting new things every day: some big, some small, all extraordinary.[/p][p]They challenge us all to rethink disability. [/p][p]SeeAbility provides extraordinary support and champions better eye care for people with learning disabilities and autism, many of whom have sight loss. [/p][p]Registered as The Royal School for the Blind, SeeAbility is one of the oldest disability charities in the UK and has pioneered specialist support for over 200 years.[/p][p]Help us rethink disability. Good Luck Charlotte! If you're hurting at mile 12, remember Madonna's lyrics "those who run seem to have all the fun" and our (more useful) wise words "it only takes longer if you walk so just RUN". Enjoy it - you'll be fab!
