Team story

[p][/p][p]A huge thank-you to all of you who have taken the time to visit and hopefully donate to a Very worthy cause.[/p][p]Stefanie and Graham are going to be putting themselves through a mini-hell by running the London Marathon to raise some well needed funds for Voluntry Service Aberdeen (VSA).[/p][p]VSA is an extremely important Charity in Aberdeen which does a huge amount of work for the people that really need it, including-[/p][p]- Old Folks Homes.[/p][p]- Special Needs Schools.[/p][p]- Groups like Young Carers or Respite Services[/p][p]- Home Carers, helping to keep peoples independance for as long as possible.[/p][p]-Mental Health Services.[/p][p]However, the main service that we as a family benefit from, is that our eldest son -Lewis- attends Linn Moor School - a school specifically designed to help children between the ages of 6 to 18, that have a range of disabilities like Autism. Linn Moor is a residential school that provides a huge amount of support and services to their pupils, so needs a lot of money to keep it going.[/p][p]Lewis, who has just turned 11yrs of age, has a whole range of issues and disabilities including Autism, ADHD..... etc...He has attended Linn Moor for the last 3 years as a non residential pupil, and will soon be living there through the week as a resident.[/p][p]If it hadn't been for the school and dedicated staff that work there, we as a family, really don't know how we would have managed Lewis's more challenging behaviour, and feel that we would like to give a little something back - hence running the Marathon.[/p][p]And this is where you wonderful people come in, by digging deep and donating as much as you possibly can - Be it pennies or pounds (as every little will help)... [/p][p]https://www.vsa.org.uk/[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
