Team story

[p]On the 20 and 21 June 2015, 20 parents and staff of St. Gildas' and St. Peter's schools, Crouch End, N8 are undertaking a c. 150 mile cycle from Yeovil in Somerset to Crouch End.  The cycle is part of the celebrations to mark the Centenary of the schools' founding in 1915 when the Sisters of St Gildas' came to Crouch End from their existing school in Somerset to set-up the London school. The cycle ride will commence from the remaining St Gildas' school in Yeovil in Somerset and end at the school in Crouch End.[/p][p]Many of the participants have never undertaken a long cycle before and a number have purchased their first adult bike - so this should definitely be seen as a challenge!  All monies raised will go towards the much needed redevelopment of the school's playground to create a dedicated sports area and active playground.  If we can rise the target amount then the planned works can commence this summer.  We would therefore ask people to give as generously as they can.  Gift aid will also be reclaimed from eligible donations.[/p][p]We thank you for any support you give and it will help motivate us as we clock-up the miles![/p][p]Many thanks[/p][p]The Centenary Cycle Team[/p]
