My story

[p]PLEASE NOTE: I AM GUTTED TO REPORT THAT DUE TO A KNEE INJURY I HAVE HAD TO WITHDRAW FROM THIS YEARS MARATHON. HOWEVER, I DO HAVE A PLACE IN NEXT YEARS SO I WILL KEEP THIS PAGE OPEN AND CONTINUNE TO COLLECT UNTIL I COMPLETE THE VLM2017. [/p][p]Hello people, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to my choosen charity West London Action for Childern. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. [/p][p]After the shock of finding out I had a place through the ballot for the 2016 VLM and realising I had to run 26.(too far) miles, the most I have ever run is 16km, I decided I wanted to run for a local charity. After a lot of research I have chosen WLAC. Having been born and bred in Hammersmith & Fulham I wanted to raise money for charity that works closely within my community, and WLAC does just that.[/p][p]WLAC are a small independent charity helping children and families in need in the Boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham and Kensington & Chelsea.[/p][p]They help families affected by abuse, domestic violence, mental illness, poverty, bullying, divorce, bereavement and emotional and relationship difficulties.[/p][p]They help children to become healthy and safe and to develop to their full potential. They enable all family members to function by focusing on their own positive resources.[/p][p]They provide free and confidential services for local children and families, that are easy to access and quick to respond, as well as offering individual and family counselling and therapy to parents, children and teenagers[/p][p] I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
