Team story

[lt]p class="p1"[gt][lt]span class="s1"[gt]Welcome to the 'Swim The Eden' expedition and thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We're three brothers, Robbie, Calum and Jack Hudson, who love swimming and want to bass the baton on to future generations. [lt]/span[gt][/p][lt]p class="p1"[gt]This August the 15th we're swimming the full 90 miles of our childhood river, The River Eden in Cumbria. We're doing this to raise money for the Swimming Trust in the hope that more children and future generations to come will be able to enjoy the act of swimming. This might look like a family holiday gone terribly wrong, but and you might wonder why we'd want to spend nine days in a row swimming down a cold river and camping each night, soggy and wet to begin again the next morning.[/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt][span=text-align: center;]Swim the Eden Trailer[/p][lt]p class="p1"[gt][lt]span class="s1"[gt]    We couldn't think of a better charity to support than The Swimming Trust, which is dedicated to getting more and more people swimming. They know that swimming provides the ideal environment to develop skills that will benefit individuals throughout their lives. It provides a foundation for a healthy lifestyle, good teamwork and focus. Also, swimming has no age barrier; it can be enjoyed by everyone irrespective of ability or disability.[/span][/p][lt]p class="p1"[gt][lt]span class="s1"[gt]    Sadly there are groups and individuals who are likely to miss these opportunities without intervention from the Swimming Trust. That's why they aim to identify every barrier to participation, whether they are physical, cultural or financial, so that more people can enjoy the wide ranging benefits of swimming.[lt]/span[gt][/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt][lt]span class="s1"[gt]Please donate and join the adventure.[lt]/span[gt][/p] [lt]p class="p1"[gt][lt]span class="s1"[gt]"We want to actively encourage and inspire children to get out there and enjoy swimming!"[lt]/span[gt] [/p] [lt]p class="p3"[gt][lt]span class="s2"[gt]http://www.swimmingtrust.com/[lt]/span[gt][/p] [lt]p class="p3"[gt][lt]span class="s2"[gt]http://wildswimmingbrother.wix.com/swimtheeden[lt]/span[gt][/p]
