Team story

[p]Hi everyone, [/p][p]Ian and I are running the Brighton Marathon 2016 on April 17th. Its a tough 26.2 mile run around Brighton. Alongside this we are taking on the Bramley 20 mile race, The WOKINGHAM half and the Reading half marathon as part of our training. We would very much like to raise as much money as possible for a very worthy charity called Tommy's, who fund medicial reasearch into premature babies, stillbirths and miscarriges, as well as providing up to date support and information to parents and famillies during pregnancy.[/p][p]Ian and his twin brother Neil were born at 26 weeks, 14 weeks premature,in the Buscot  Ward at the Royal Berks Reading, weighing less than a bag of sugar, with a very slim chance of survival. Without the support of the medicial staff and the reasearch into pregnancy things may of been very different. Tommys continues to work closely with the special baby care unit in our aream[/p][p]Since then Ian, Gary and Neil have become parents, pregnancy at any stage can be a challenge and we feel that it is important to continue to fund the reasearch and offer much needed support to give every family the chance of a healthy pregnancy. [/p][p]Running Events:[/p][p]Green Park 10k - done, Shinfield 10k - done , Colour Run - done, Henley Half Marathon- done, Bramley 20 mile race - done, Wokingham Half Marathon - done, Reading Half Marathon - done, Brighton Marathon, [/p][p]We would like to thank you in advance for your kind donations. Everytime someone donates it gives us that little extra motivation that we need for the challenge ahead.[/p][p]We would like to also thank everyone that attended our Soul For A Good Cause Charity Night. It was a great night and we've had some great feedback from everyone that was there and most importantly we made lots of money for this great cause. There is also another night planned later in 2016... we love you all [/p][p]Thanks again. x[/p][p] [/p]
