My story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting my page[/p][p]Here's how it goes. 9 months ago I had a funny five minutes after seeing Arg from TOWIE complete the London Marathon, and thought if he can do that, surely I can too? A ballot entry and 6 months later, it was with some surprise, a tiny bit of excitement and a whole heap of fear that I received a 'you're in' pack. And they say Reality TV only creates couch potatoes! ;0)[/p][p]I am running in memory of Chris Ajala with all proceeds going to the Cardiomyopathy Association. [span=-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(175, 192, 227, 0.230469); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(77, 128, 180, 0.230469);]In 2010, Chris married my cousin Louise, but tragically died only 6 months later, at the tender age of 47. [lt]span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"[gt]Chris was an Olympic athlete and sport was an integral part of who he was and a past-time that he and Louise enjoyed together. To keep his memory alive, Louise has set up the CMA tribute fund for which family, friends and now myself are raising money[/span][lt]/span[gt][/p][p][span=-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(175, 192, 227, 0.230469); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(77, 128, 180, 0.230469);][lt]span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"[gt][lt]span style="font-family: '.HelveticaNeueUI'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 19px; white-space: nowrap; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(175, 192, 227, 0.230469); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(77, 128, 180, 0.230469);"[gt]http://www.cardiomyopathy.org/index.php?id=2697[/span][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][/p][lt]p style="text-align: left;"[gt]So, I would really appreciate your support, as my 42 year old legs that could barely run for a bus a few months ago will drag me round the 26 miles of London fuelled by a lot of training, but ultimately Chris' memory and the inspiration of your donations on this page[/p][lt]p style="text-align: left;"[gt]Thanks[/p][p]Paul[/p][p] [/p][p](Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me here and donations will be quickly processed and passed to the CMA. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.)[/p]

Sorry I am late with donation and I didn't even get to watch the marathon this year, but hope it went well for you. I talked to one of our colleague's in Boston and she says thanks for thinking of them as well.
