Team story

[p][span=background-color: #ffffff;][lt]span style="color: #0000ff;"[gt]For many years now, The Brotherhood – Roger Simon & Mark – have undertaken an annual Bike Ride to raise money for the Dystonia Society. We have cycled round the Isle of Wight, along the Kennet and Avon Canal to Bristol, down the Grand Union Canal to London, along the South Coast to Folkestone and all the way to Warsash from Watford. This year we will be joined by Brother Mary, our latest recruit but may well be our last year of doing this so we wanted to make sure we did something special. The result was The Nightrider, a 100 Km ride through the streets of London – all through the night.[/span][lt]/span[gt][/p][p][span=background-color: #ffffff;][lt]span style="color: #0000ff;"[gt]This ride will not only be an achievement for us, but is also a personal quest as we have a great friend who has had this painful condition for a number of years. [i]DYSTONIA [/i]is a little known neurological condition that affects the muscle of the body by causing them to go into spasm or shake. Research is being carried out on the condition and the money we raise will help the [i]Dystonia Society[/i] to help fund this research and also to support people who experience the condition.[/span][lt]/span[gt][/p][p][span=background-color: #ffffff;][lt]span style="color: #0000ff;"[gt]So, if the thought of of an overweight 60 year old and two handsome young me in T- shirts and Lycra shorts, being forced to puff their way round London brings a smile to your face, then bring a smile to ours and add your donation to the list.[/span][lt]/span[gt][/p]
