Team story

[lt]h3[gt][span=font-weight: normal;]Hi, [/span][lt]/h3[gt][p][span=font-size: 12.8px;]Starting on 8th July, the five directors of Bannatyne will be travelling a massive 762 miles from Inverness to Eastbourne, all by pedal power. Inspired by the upcoming Tour De France, every mile will test their strength and stamina, but it will all be worth it for such great causes. [/span][/p][p][span=font-size: 12.8px;]In the past, The Bannatyne Group have been (and continue to be,) inspired by and work closely with two specific charities, Look Good Feel Better and Operation Smile. As the Directors were looking for something that was super challenging and in order to test themselves, they believe that a gruelling cycle ride from North to South, would push them to the absolute limit. [/span][/p] [span=color: #500050;] [div=font-size: 12.8px;] [/div] [div=font-size: 12.8px;][lt]span style="color: #000000;"[gt]To highlight our chosen charities amazing work, please see below: [/span][/div] [div=font-size: 12.8px;][span=color: #000000;] [/span][/div] [div=font-size: 12.8px;][span=color: #000000;]Look Good Feel Better is the only worldwide cancer support charity, providing practical support for women struggling with the side effects from cancer treatment.[/span][/div] [div=font-size: 12.8px;][span=color: #000000;]The charity is dedicated to improving the self-esteem, confidence and wellbeing of people undergoing treatment for any sort of cancer. Its  aim is to improve their self-image and appearance through free group and self-help skincare and make-up workshops that create a sense of support, confidence, and well being.[/span][/div] [div=font-size: 12.8px;] [/div] [lt]/span[gt] [div=font-size: 12.8px;]Secondly, we are supporting Operation Smile. At Operation Smile they believe every child deserves exceptional surgical care to those with oral defects such as cleft palates. Last year they provided medical care to over 234 million patients, giving them a smile they might only have dreamt of.  Our founder Duncan Bannatyne has personally travelled on a number of medical missions, to see for himself the life-enhancing work the charity carries out.[/div] [span=color: #500050;] [div=font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;] [/div] [div=font-size: 12.8px;][lt]span style="color: #000000;"[gt]They will  leave Inverness on the 8th July, and aim to arrive back in Eastbourne 8 days later on 15th July.  [lt]span style="font-size: 12.8px;"[gt]We will be keeping our 200,000 members up to date with the adventure and our sponsors will be acknowledged on our member newsletter.  [/span][lt]/span[gt][/div][div=font-size: 12.8px;][span=color: #000000; font-size: 12.8px;]All five members of the team haven't graced a saddle for quite some time now, which makes this all the more ridiculous. We shall be endevouring to raise £100,000, and we hope that you will dig deep and support us. [/span][/div][div=font-size: 12.8px;][span=color: #000000; font-size: 12.8px;]Thank you[/span][/div][div=font-size: 12.8px;][span=color: #000000; font-size: 12.8px;]The Bannatyne Group. [/span][/div][p][/p][lt]h5[gt][span=color: #000000;][lt]span style="font-size: 12.8px;"[gt][lt]span style="color: #000000;"[gt][lt]span id="docs-internal-guid-c0574dde-0138-ad6e-0a37-eaee1b5cc87d"[gt][lt]div[gt][lt]span style="font-size: 11pt; background-color: transparent; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"[gt][lt]br /[gt][/span][lt]/div[gt] [lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][lt]/h5[gt][span=color: #000000;][lt]span style="font-size: 12.8px;"[gt][lt]span style="color: #000000;"[gt][lt]span id="docs-internal-guid-c0574dde-0138-ad6e-0a37-eaee1b5cc87d"[gt][lt]div[gt][lt]span style="font-size: 11pt; background-color: transparent; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"[gt][lt]br /[gt][/span][lt]/div[gt] [lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][lt]/span[gt][p][/p] [lt]div[gt][span=font-size: 12.8px;][lt]br /[gt][/span][lt]/div[gt] [lt]/span[gt][lt]br /[gt][p][/p]
