Team story

[p]A small team from Burford Fire Station have decided to undertake the particularly adventurous challenge of walking the length of the River Thames from its source in Kemble, Gloustershire to the Thames Barrier in East London. The 184 mile walk will take six days to complete and the intension is to complete the walk during May Half term 2018: starting on Sunday 27th May in Kemble and finishing on Friday 1st June 2018 in London. [/p][p]The challenge of walking the Thames is just one part of our event. The team will also raise the profile of our chosen charities and reach our fundraising target of £30,000. All money raised will be equally shared between the Fire fighters Charity and Oxfordshire very own child bereavement charity Seesaw[/p][p]Money colected off offline has been rasied at:[/p][p]£200 Libfest 24th June - FFC charity shop[/p][p]£500 - Burford Rotary Club, donation direct to FFC [/p][p]£1460.80 - Burford Fire Works paid direct to FFC[/p][p]£1000.00 - Barclays Bank match fund - Thank you[/p][p]£300 - Burford Church Chairs - Paid direct to FFC[/p][p]£246.80 - Burford School non-uniform day - Paid Direct to Seesaw[/p][p] [/p][p] [/p][p]Hi, thanks for visiting our page.
