Bristol and Avon's fundraising page

[p]Bristol and Avon Group's chosen charity is Meningitis Now. We have a personal connection with the founder of the incredible charity; Steve Dayman MBE- who sadly lost his son to Meningitis. We will continue to raise funds for Meningitis Now to fund life saving research, awareness and provide support to those affected.[/p][p]We have pledged to raise £100,000 to fund research for a Meningitis vaccine. The aim is to eradicate all strains of Meningitis for good. We will do this in three main ways: sponsorship of personal challenges by our employees, our rebranded lorry dedicated to the charity, and the support of our customers and suppliers.[/p][p] Various team members have been raising money on their own pages, the photos are on the photo gallery:[/p][p]Marc Large: he has completed 2 of his triathlons. Bristol and Avon Waste drivers: took part in a karting evening. [/p][p]Karen and Clare have taken part in a two day trek.[/p][p]Becky and Helen held a car boot sale.[/p][p]Richard Corrigan gave up smoking for May Mayhem.[/p][p]Adrian Brooks gave up shaving for May Mayhem.[/p][p]The office team went canoeing down the river Wye to raise a bit of cash.[/p][p]Marc Large and some of the drivers held a golf day.[/p][p]Jade and Karen B walked 4 miles of the Five Valleys Walk.[/p]
