[p][span=font-size: x-small;]Since being involved in a serious riding accident on Saturday 25th March, Gypsy was discharged from Stoke Mandeville hospital on the 31st of July, many months earlier than initially suggested.[/span][/p][p][span=font-size: x-small;]This is the meassure of the man many of us know, respect and love dearly, his determination to get back to Newmarket to be close to family and friends and to begin the process of rebuilding his life undoubtedly aiding his speedy progress towards his ealy return home.[/span][/p][p][span=font-size: x-small;]In many ways this will be the hardest part for him, he had to give up his former home as it was unsuitable for him following the accident, and it may well be some months yet before his new home is modified allowing him to properly start the rebuilding process of his very different life.[/span][/p][p][span=font-size: x-small;]Allan has been so grateful for the fantastic support given by so many in the months following the accident which will help in so many ways ease the challenges which lie ahead.[/span][/p][lt]p class="Body"[gt][span=font-family: "Calibri","sans-serif";" lang="EN-US]We are hoping that his many friends around the world, and from the horse racing industry, in particular, will come together in continued support of this appeal which is being managed on Allan’s behalf by the Injured Jockeys Fund.[/span][/p] [lt]p class="Body"[gt][span=font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;]Like many of his generation he has worked hard and given his all for the sport he loves, and he had planned to work a good deal longer, this he will now be unable to do, however, with your support we might be able to make the difficulties he has yet to face a little easier.[/span][/p] [lt]p class="Body"[gt][span=font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;]If you would like to make a donation or even set up your own fundraising event, with the proceeds being added automatically to Allan's appeal fund, you can do so by using this links on this page.[/span][/p]
