[p]Hello,[/p][p]I was diagnosed with cancer in Feb 2015 - bowel and liver - I want to raise some money for charities that deal with bowel cancer.  As I play for half a dozen cricket clubs I thought it would be worthwhile trying to do this through cricket.  I will also do some cycling if well enough. [/p][p]Update -  [/p][p]March 2015 - bowel op[/p][p]Apr 2015 - Pacific CC, and the Hollman family, in particular have very kindly kicked things off with a charity game against the JG Alliance that raised over £500.  - http://www.islingtontribune.com/news/2015/apr/our-neighbours%E2%80%88who%E2%80%99s-been-making-news-round-your-way-week-0[/p][p]Apr 2015 - Old Citizens CC have kindly donated monies raised through raffle at annual dinner through this page.  [/p][p]Summer 2015 - first chemo[/p][p]Autumn 2015 - ops[/p][p]Feb 2016 - rode Wiggle sportive in Huntingdon[/p][p]Apr 2016 - JGA did battle again with Pacific on Apr 10th. Pacific were taken down by Nuggsy's semi pro SAS Navy Seal assassin XI as James Smith put it.[/p][p]May 2016 - Jim Davies running down under 12km in Perth.  Many thanks to Jim for his fine fundraising effort last year as well.[/p][p]July 2016 - got through second round of chemo - lots of cycling to be done - now also raising funds for Shine and Odyssey after they have helped me.[/p][p]Aug 2016 - London to Storrington bike ride[/p][p]Aug 2016 - microwave ablation to liver[/p][p]Sep 2016 - Stamford Bridge to Battle bike ride. It was 300 miles in 6 days (one rest day).  Thanks to Mark for letting me stay in Cambridge, Len of LU Cycling Club for guiding me through Surrey and Marcin for guiding me through Sussex[/p][p]Mar 2017 - Third chemo[/p][p]Apr 2017 - JG Alliance will play Pacific on Easter Monday[/p]
